I'm out. Too far to ride, and too close to trailer. LDHunter will be along shortly though. He usually makes all of these kinds of outings.

We could meet somewhere in-between or just meet in Big Cypress. The guys from the North Start in Clewiston and the guys from the South start in ????. This part I don't know because I've never done it from the south.

You could have a meet in Clewiston and a meet at like Holiday park then all meet at the first pump station. The Clewistion Crew would be running the route backwards, Holiday park crew runs it as written above....not sure about the timing though, you might be standing around waiting for one crew or the other. Then all head west going back to snake road, and finish the route running it backwards to Clewsiton. The other crew can then cut back on the old road and catch the part of canal road they missed, still running the route backwards. Once you get back down to the big pump station then head east towards 27. This would limit the amount of pavement for either crew.

shoot over to 27 and take the route as written.........way less pavement riding for you...

Thats why Holiday Park works best for everyone to the east, whether they are a bit north or bit south.

Follow the map up 27 towards Clewiston. You can see where Miami Canal Road runs to 27. Pump station and locks., Maybe 20-25 minutes from Pembrooke Pines If you go to snake road you kill a lot of good rubber on pavement!!

That is correct. On my GPS it calls it Terrytown where the turn off is located. Its a big lock and pump station where the canal crosses 27. There is a state recreation area back in there also. That road takes you down to where you see the sign for the Holeyland Water Conservation area. Thats start of the route I posted above. Like I said, Sanjoh and Oscar had mapped this all out, you shouldnt run into any closed gates etc.... You can run all the other roads, but you will most likely run into a locked gate or no bridge and have to turn back. Its not real challenging, but it is off the pavement and I have run it several times by myself, it rather peaceful.

well aslong as the weather is good and the wife doesnt pull the rug from under me. Im down to go sunday, i would rather meet at cafe27 its real close to holiday park. I have never done this route but i know how to get to holeylands, and find miami canal rd. so if any southern riders wanna join let me know and we can set up a time. then we can coordinate with the north riders and meet half way like it was mentioned above?
