Trail around Smith Falls area?

Am planning on making a weekend to travel to and from Limerick and Calabogie the weekend of the 6th of september. Anyone live around the Portland, Lombardy, Westport, or Smith falls area that would be interested in showing us some trails? I'm riding a Husky TE 450 and my buddy has a WR 400..we are both blue plated ;)

Our "home base" is a cottage on Otter lake ;)

beauty!!

That's GREAT! I have a cottage on Otter Lake (in between portland and smith falls). Plan is to trailer bikes up Friday (from Kingston) and maybe just some exploring around this area the Friday; trailer to Limerick one day; Calabogie another day (won't be participating in the boogie..am a BMA member...but looking for more flexibility i.e. crashing at the cottage nightly and having a few bevvies ;) and open to other suggestions. Will work around your availability to hook up for a rip! cell# is 613-612-8534..where are you located?

Hehehe. thanks for the heads up. Any tips on areas to ride will be appreciated. Looks like some exploring close to the lake Friday, Limerick Saturday, and the Boogie for Sunday...if we still have working bikes..monday is wide open for alternate ideas?

I usually head up north to Cloyne, Bancroft, Calabogie area to get to the good trails....but seriously, give Deadly99 a PM. He knows the area well, I believe he's in Merrickville. ???

I would even join you guys on one of the days.... if you don't mind me tagging along. I've been meaning to head back to the RR'13 route (Deadly's choice) as I missed a good portion of it after watering out on the first morning. Lotsa good trails and some nice sandy sections....
