Bike pump and windex... Worked out great on my Strom, just a little tiring. No straps or other tools needed.

Wish I took video of it, just didn't think it would work. You could probably have it done in less time than it takes to walk it to the shop

Sometimes it works, and sometimes you get a tire that was at the bottom of a stack that's been squeezed flat.

My experience with tubeless tires has been: once the tire is on the rim but still in the center, I take out the tire valve core and use shop air to "pop" the beads into place. Then after the air bleeds out the valve, I replace the core and pump the tire to the right pressure.

I'd ride carefully to an air pump on a tubeless tire that had already been set into the bead on the rim. I would NOT try riding on a tire that was still in the center of the rim.

Not calling you a liar or an idiot. I suppose there could be some variation in tires or rims that might make some combinations more difficult to seat. But my limited experience is that it's not a problem.
Hmm, mine have always been a bitch, even with the air compressor. Often a lot of air leaks on my wheels until I get the tire pushed just right and it 'catches'

I've done with a handpump but never succeeded without a ratchet strap. Only done tires on the HD and GS. All other tires I've had were tube type.
