Hey rodr how did the Anakee III's hold up? I recently put a set on my GS and am trying to decided between the D2D Alaska Ride (June) or doing the Continental Divide Ride (July) this summer. I figure the III's will hold up well to both tarmac and small gravel riding as proven by your trip.

Great trip report by the way.

Glad you liked it! IMO the III's are excellent street tires, OK on fire roads, graded dirt, light gravel and such, downright scary (for me anyway) in deep gravel.

Be sure you write up your adventure this summer, whatever it may be.
