Gotta be better than a jab in the eye with a sharp stick.....

Oh wait. No it can't!

Good luck today. At least you're finally taking care of it.

I just saw this.....

Now on to the oil question. No oil in the case makes for a noisy rattle....

I'd love to run support but I have to go to California for friends funeral that weekend. After this past weekend, All I'm going to say is make sure ANY extra tubes you have that you take them out and pump them up to make sure they hold air. Arizona heat can do damage real quick if they have been sitting for a while. I have 7 tubes from the back of my truck that were bad from being folded for to long in the heat. Seams were tearing on most of them. We had like 4 real flats with at least 10 tubes being used and not holding air. Check your extra tubes everyone. Unfold them for storage.

Great advise on the tubes, uncle milt!
Your services and company would have been great right up until the exploration part started. I don't think people are understanding exactly how f- d up this section is. Seriously steep, loose, rocky and washed out. A full sized truck wouldn't make it. I don't think a quad would make it. This will NOT be a flowers and roses sheeps bridge ride!

Have you traced that trail in Google Earth or seen anything on topo that indicates where it might go?

Uncle Mil's truck

After seeing what uncle Mil did with his truck this past weekend I would be willing to bet that if it's wide enough he can get through it if we can on the bikes. And it doesn't have to be more than an inch wide enough. I think he can also jump it further than we can jump our bikes.....

Good advice from MilT on tubes! This area has got some sharp loose rock shards and lots of prickly cacti as well. I've never taken this route in question but I've hiked all the area ruins and there is some cool stuff back in there. Cooper's Fork is the only cliff dwelling on the right side of 203 and you can see it from the road if you look closely. It will be about a mile south of where you turn off to explore but only accessible on foot. There may be some indian artifacts and pottery laying around so keep your eyes open.

Pretty rugged area to say the least. If someone does need a rescue, I don't see a super-modified truck making it back into these spots. A RZR with a winch would probably make it. Have fun!

Yup. Getting excited. When I say next week, that's as opposed to this week. Still on for the 20th. I'm thinking ksu at 0830 since it's such a distance away. There's a large parking area 1-2 miles up cherry creek road on the right hand side I use for a staging area.

Is that the point where u ditch 203 to go East??
https://www.google.com/maps?q=33.865...num=1&t=h&z=17

If yes!! if u follow that track it will lead u east to trail 202 like Spencer mentioned all the way to this point (I think).
