KTM 640 adv rear tube in 990 adv?

Hi

Please can you advise whether a KTM 640 rear tube will work in a 990 adv rear tyre? I only want to use the tube in case of an emergency (spare). If it will work for a few 100 km's, I will replace the tube with the correct spec when I get home.

640 tube (140/80x18) 990 tube (150/70x18).

Thanks

Carel

What are the specs of you tube? They have a range on them., meaning they fit a range of tire sizes.

I'd say it will be OK, as in a pinch lots of folks have used a 21" front tube in an 18" rear.
