Your second sentence is going a little to far.

maybe you can spend even less time in the SUV, or not have an attitude just cuz you drive one?

anyway riders never bothered me in that way even when holding up traffic. i honestly thought it was kind of...different. don't see it on the road everyday. not even in los angeles

maybe its where i grew up? lane splitters and all kinds of riders all over. l.a. is a car town, but also lots of bikes. the beaches, mountains, deserts all nearby. and people ride. some do wheelies and close down roads. some race honda civic's in the streets

anyway....i drove for 27 years b4 i rode and was never bothered. i think its ok sometimes. but thats just me

carry on

It seems pretty obvious that you care for no one but yourself. What those s are doing DOES effect you, whether you understand how or not.

But it is obvious you have no clue how!

Meh, a guy says he'll run over motorcyclists because of how they ride, then says he hopes I crash on a motorcycle forum?

I'm not losing sleep on an innocent slur(I'm irish too). And I do hope he chokes on a potato.

Actually it's quite cool, that the stunters just enjoy their ride and don't care what some fucktard bikers think about them.
I feel connected to them, because that's part of riding to me as well. Getting out, having fun, not trying to compensate some lack of whatever by being everybody's friend.

That's a cool theory and all, but I am fairly certain they all care very much about what others think, lol.

I dont get the appeal of highway wheelies though. Shit, all the best stunters keep it under 30 for the most part.

Someday Im gonna have a stunt bike. But not on the road, I dont want to get killed.

Is it just my bad judgement or is the "Line" right between the two drain pipes at 1:45????

That said, a friend (in a cage) held a HWY stunter's hand as he took his last breaths after being split in half after getting the wobbles on a high speed wheelie and meeting a guard rail.

I admire the "Skills" just not on the street, but I wouldn't call any of them out with a SUV, bad form on a MC forum I'd say.

Ever asked one? In general, most of us assume that others think the same way we do. Tells us something about how you think about riding and how I do, no?

Fun? Often (or to many of us) more speed means more fun.

LOL
way too many cranky old men around here.
Take your meds old man, you'll have forgotten all about your little incident in a few minutes anyway.
Typical of the baby boomers to be a part of the most selfish generation ever, then accuse other generations of being selfish.

Two dead. One of whom was protesting to the police about their 'infringement' before the ride on his 'right' to stunt on the highway.

Cops described it as 'ironic' in the newspaper reports.

Just as I will you when you end up sleeping on the streets/finally meeting someone whose sense of entitlement is even more grandiose than yours - see, our generation has some justification in being 'selfish' - we actually worked for what we have. Now, go play at Occupying Wall Street again or something and maybe some lunatic will actually pay for your college or condoms or whatever the heck it is you figure you are 'owed' by the very society you despise (but would not last ten days without )
