Ah, good question. Right now all fee areas in the Prescott National Forest are closed which I believe includes the Lynx Lake campground. If they do not get our government back to work by the event date this will not change.

Alternatives:
Dispersed camp sites on Bannie Mine Road which is a couple of miles South of the Lynx Lake camp ground.

There will be limited number of first come first served dry RV/Tent camping sites at the Elks Lodge.

Refer to the Hotel/Camping list on www.arizonatrailriders.org of which the Orchard Ranch RV Resort is probably the closest. (about 5 miles from Elks)

Thanks for opening up a few more slots.

I found this place to be the cheapest hotel in PV. $60/night for single bed, $70 for double beds. Mention the event for discount rate.

Don I received your second email about one of the B tracks not being filtered. It looks fine on my garmin so do I need to down load the filtered one with less waypoints?

Not unless you want too. It's the same route.

Since I have the GPS logs is there any advantage to also having the roll chart?

Only if you want to further distract yourself!

Backup, maybe.

I prefer to navigate using a rollchart, makes it bit more difficult as no 2 odo's are the same. I usually run the rollchart and put my GPS in a pocket and use it for backup.
