you can get 12's for 11k, and 13's for 12k, no 9k for an 04 is redonkulous. good luck.

I bought a '04 with 13k miles for a little over half that last winter from a private sale in VT. Retail book price is about $5500 in excellent shape. You would have to pay most of it in cash, the bank/cu would only finance about $4000 of it.

If I was in the market, I might be willing to go as high as $7000. Wait a few months and there will be some well equipped 950s with 30k or so miles for $7k. Not a lot of Adventures on this coast, but plenty enough to go around.

Sorry just saw this post. I actually offered 7k today, but only if I like what I see in person. Not sure how well that's going to go over. You looking to sell your adventure?

Waiting to hear back from seller. There's a 2013 in a shop near here for 13,500, but that's big money for me... Not looking to finance, and I have about 10k to spend.

Defiantly not selling mine. When I was shopping for one, I was getting frustrated seeing all the great bikes on the west coast. I did consider getting on shipped, but I just couldn't get myself to do it. There are a few on the flea market now that are not too far away. My advice is be ready to make the deal when it comes up. As soon as the one that I bought came along, I called and offered to PayPal him a couple hundred bucks. He said he would hold it until I could get there with the whole thing.I didn't even haggle with the price,it was a fair deal. Do a craigs list search too.

is it an 04 S GO!!!!!!!

THE GO!!!!!! IS WORTH A BIT MORE THAN A REGULAR MODEL. ( in my opinion ) if it is a GO!!!!!! and with very few miles it might be worth it, depending if there are any "farkles "with it.

Flea market

I would wait as well! Check the flea market! There are some that are for sale! Check everyday and also you will find one with luggage pipes ect ect!!

I bought a 950 ser 2009 in 2010 at a shop near my place and it was lowered 5,000$ from ktm plus they gave me 2,000$ for my dr650 it cost me 11,000$ brand new! So i too think you will pay too much at 9k!! At 7k its more reasonnable but on the flea market you might find one full equipped!! Just sayin'!! Good luck!
