Who's the goto mechanic n San Diego? Not the dealer.

I'm just starting to dig into my bike and learning by trial. It's always nice to know there's a guy u can always goto incase I get in over my head. I'm n the el cajon area of San Diego and would really like to have a recommendation from some of u folks. Thanks, I ride an 02' GSA.

I've heard a few good things about a guy named Dave Campbell in the San Diego area. I had him mount a new rear TKC-80 for a Baja run a few years back. He seemed like a real nice type.

I second Dave Campbell. nice shop off mission gorge, did my 6k service with good results for less than the dealership. I am a "self service" guy though although I wanted somebody else to do the initial 6k... (purchased 09 with <5k miles. since the 6k I have done all the rest of the scheduled service myself with no issues. *knock on wood) he does have loaner bikes if you think you might need just call in advance.

Guys, I did stop by and talk w Dave. He's just about 3 miles from my place, funny how I've never ran into him. http://www.dcmwmcservice.com/

There's the link to his site. I'll be trying him out soon enough.

trackoholics in oceanside. Shaun Higgenbottom is the owner, and the man, hes taken care of all my bikes for the last 5 years. he's also a suspension guru, world class engine builder (built the engine for the bike that holds the land speed record for a 600) he's also a really nice guy. i would recommend him over any mechanic i have ever dealt with.
