Nova Scotia photos and trip report

I finished a 3400 mile trip to Nova Scotia recently. NS has incredible scenery and incredibly friendly people! Since there have been dozens of ride reports for NS already, I'll dispense with the babbling and post the best photos from the trip.

Packed up and ready to go.

Riding into the Bay of Fundy Provincial Park:

Boats in the town of Alma:

My riding partner Al heading down a dirt road:

Next time I need to remember to take my helmet off when taking self portraits.

Beach front camping all to myself:

Moonrise over the campground:

St. Georges Bay I blelieve?:

The start of the Cabot trail:

The Cabot Trail:

Don't fall off the cliffs at Meat Cove:

Meat Cove Sunset:

The Meat Cove campground seen from a hiking trail nearby:

An awesome empty road on the Western Coast. The locals said the road was really rough but it was fine by US standards. The scenery of the coves along the way was great. I wish I got more photos but it rained a bit that day.

I practically disappear into the bike:

Local transportation:

Sunset at Whale Creek campground:

I've never seen mud like this before. If you fell in you'd disappear.

I think this was near the "5 Island" area on the north shore:

More boats:

Chocolate River Motel and Campground (New Brunswick). Find somewhere else to stay:

A railroad bridge I passed when heading home in Maine:

Looks like a great place to ride. Good pictures including the ones in your photo album.

Live life like you mean it... but take your family and friends (and DOGS) along for the "ride"
