They shoot an anvil into the air with copious amounts of blackpowder. Seems like it would be fun just for that.

It is cool to see that, and the roads down there are nice. you own a BMW now, you realize attendance is mandatory don't you?

Been going to the Falling Leaf Rally since 2000. I try to make it every year unless the weather is awful or I'm on travel. The roads in the area are excellent. :

Good times. Laid back atmosphere, great roads and they blow things up. What more do you want?

I wouldn't miss it. Very laid back crowd, not snobby. Lots of campfires to stop and chat at. Fantastic riding both north and south.
Liquor store right in town, not a guzzi rally unfortunately.

Plenty of Diners, pie can be found coming down too, and outside of Potosi, not much in Potosi.

You can spend all day in the curves and looking at the changing colors.

Falling Leaf

One of the great rallies! Good dual sport ride and twisty paved roads that cant be beat.

Can be either Frozen Leaf or Floating Leaf depending on the weather, or the weather can be drop dead beautiful. The surrounding roads are great. I love the lettered roads in the bottom half of Missouri. Potosi is kind of an armpit of a town and if the marching band contest is there at the same time it can create a mini traffic snafu.

I'll be there on my 1976 R75/6 if I get it back on the road by then.
