Ace weekend! Wales is truly amazing, with and without snow, I think I've fallen in love again... (don't worry Matt, maybe no-one will figure out who or what with).

Thanks Timpo, for organising such a great HAF and letting me come along, it was real fun. You sure got a great bunch of people together!

And also a big hug for Ela (who found us great trails - again) and everyone I rode with, what a team we were!

I hope I'll get to see you all again soon (March Moon? sooner?). Till then, enjoy the rides.

What a brilliant weekend: cracking trails, fantastic weather, great company, perfect organisation! Good to see the Three Pigeons resurrected; it is a splendid venue in an ideal location - and how kind of the new owners, Debbie and Paul, to accommodate us at the last minute.

No stories from me this time, only pictures - there is still a Portugal report to finish and don't you mention South America...

Friday night at the pub

The Great Organizer, Movember style, Roos, Sarah Teach, Pyndon and - there is no escape from my wide-angle lens - RickA

Possu baby

Who's who?

Saturday morning

Steve G

Everyone looking nice on such a beautiful morning...

Cand

Timpolino

Etnared on Pentre Lane

Danielle, Janice & Lenny

It was a tad chilly...

Moel Famau

Etnared - too fast for the camera

According to Lenny, Bananas...

... and water is pretty much all you need on the trails

That's another thing we love about Wales - the views

Moel Arthur

Siglen Uchaf

Snowdonia living up to its name

Everyone still there?

On the Clwydian Way

Pix & Owdknacker

That's £2.50 per head, please

The panorama is certainly worth it

Let me get the camera out...

Cimwch - after a brief excursion into the bushes. You should have said, Ange, I would have stopped properly...

Top of the Badger Run, everyone's favourite - meticulously cleared by Sarah and her mum the previous week

Still five lanes and a few road miles till lunch...

... at Loggerheads Services

Then Ange showed us her home course...

Yee-haa!

Just go with the flow, Ilse - literally...

Near Ty'n-yr-ynn

Pwll-Helyg under Bryn Alyn

Do you remember how much fun this lane was a few years ago?

The Ford of Depth through the Afon Alun - shall we?

Ok, I bow to Ange's local knowledge - too much water today...

Danielle on Pen-y-Gaer near Efenechtyd

Ange still smiling...

... because she knew that our next stop was the Barllaeth in Ruthin

That's one of the benefits of riding with the girls - you are allowed proper breaks, tinkle stops and even a coffee in the afternoon

More photos to follow...

Thanks once again to Mr. T for organising such a great weekend and for leading the rides also.

The fruity exchange on Allt y Badi will be one to remember for some time to come

Liked The Three Pigeons as a host venue, though I suspect the beer was off on the sat evening as my head didn't settle until Sunday afternoon

Great one!

Age..

Something's don't get any prettier with age you know.. Glad to see some old faces still out and about.

If I can ever get Mr Timolgra (Prod) to get around to servicing my bike if he is still in this neck of the woods, might be able to come out for a ride sometime soon.

Hope all folks still well. Great photos. Looks like a lot of fun!

Since I posted mainly pictures of the ladies, we may take offence at your statement, John...

Saturday Night at the Three Pigeons

Owdknacker(s)...

The Dirty Girls

Pretty in Pink

No break for Muddymatt - even at dinner he was sorting other people's SatNavs out...

Sunday morning

At the Castle Park Café in Ruthin

Although being banned from riding (bikes, trails and horses...), Sarah Teach joined us at least for breakfast

Pen-y-Maes

Cand making a splash

No incidents at Pumpy's Ford this time...

Pentre-potes

Pix and Lenny

Foel Gasnach

Tenez à gauche, s'il vous plaît!

I could swear I had a group following me a minute ago...

Lenny in the zone

We became quite efficient at gate duties during the weekend

Lane clearing Dirty Girls style...

Cand emerging from Cyffylliog Bridge

... and going straight up again on a rescue mission

There is no shame in falling off on this notorious trail, Lenny...

If you look closely you can already see our next lane...

One of my favourites!

I hadn't been in the area for over three years and was looking forward to the Clwydian Way through the Clocaenog Forest...

What have they done to the lane?

Hours of fun lost... (back in 2008)

Nantglyn

What would we do without Lenny?

Familiar with every gate locking mechanism ever invented...

... and always a gentleman

Foel-G'ap

Ystafell-y-parc-fawr

Momentum is your friend...

Danielle just sitting there, smiling innocently and taking one photo after the other

We are all in this together!

Cand tackling the bank

Yep!

Not the last time Pix was giving Janice a push...

Oops - what's our tail end doing up here when there are still two riders missing?

There they are...

Swiss Army mountain tyres may not be the best choice for muddy Wales...

That's all the thanks you'll get, Ilse...

Lenny showing us how to un-clog a muddy tread...

We certainly learnt a trick or two from the old hand during the weekend

Ending the ride in style - with coffee and chocolates

Who needs a sophisticated ramp?

Danielle & Janice looking forward to the motorway journey home...

What a weekend - I had a brilliant time: cracking trails, plenty of entertainment, fantastic teamwork, lots of fun and splendid company - thank you all!

And a special thank you goes to the Great Organizer, Timpolino - excellent job, as always!

Hope to see you all soon again on the trails!

Ela
