Ok, other than a couple of highlights, it's been a bad week. But the next few days should be good.

I totally forgot about the events of the evening after I left Ducati Seattle. Went towards the water (which is basically any direction) and found myself in a fairly affluent and peaceful area of town. Lots of white people walking in unison, all who seemed angered by the sound of a V-Twin. Several people expressed their disdain by sticking right index in right ear and left index in left, which, sorry to say, made me smile. In shitty areas people get pissed and overreact, but wealthy people do the same shit, just in a more pussy way. It wasn't midnight, no one was sleeping and as far as I know I wasn't interrupting a funeral. Perhaps the sound of the Supermodel upsets the kind of people who have stomachs more accustomed to Kale, illy decaf and the sound of Priuses? Can't imagine how many 911 calls originate from this neighborhood any time there was lightning or thunder.

But nice view:

Had dinner at a strange 'Mexican' diner and ended up in a cheap hotel. Wandered out to get a bottle of wine and ran across all kinds of people in the shadows, none of whom I felt would really appreciate a photo being taken. Except this guy:

And this guy:

And maybe this guy who was selling drugs (Krokodil, anyone?):

And THEN (the following day) I played in the sprinklers:

And discovered that my beloved Kriga bag isn't quite 100% waterproof:

(There's a memory card filled with pics at the bottom.)

Woke up in the morning to find breakfast being made by my hostess. (Welcome to Oregon!)

Queen Ann is the neighborhood you went through to take that first pic looking West over Puget Sound. In the fore ground is terminal 90 and 91 with Elliott Bay Marina just NW of there. Where was that motel at?. Looks like a really sketchy area.

Anti,
Great to see you back at it, in my old stomping grounds. I started riding in southern OR, and weathered all the storms in some surprising good Icon "patrol" gear. Out east, I've picked up a F800R in response to the lousy roads. Before that reality set in, I had my eyes set on a 848. Looking forward to reading the rest.

This series of Panigale photos from a PNW Ducati dealer will give you a chuckle:

Perhaps they are prejudiced against desmo valve trains? They don't know what they're missing!

Metamorphosizing moto

Anyone notice that Bronson's bike changed from a Sportster to a dirt bike for the beach wheelies.

That's the kind of bike I want. Push a button and.....instant knobbies.

AH, Love your writing, photography, graphics, etc., but most of all your confidence in who you are.
