No worries, Motorrad has an overabundance of douchebags, from corporate tower to sales floors worldwide.

No doubt. I am still waiting for their answer to my simple question: what type of oil, mineral or synthetic, are the F700/F800 engines filled with at the factory?

That is proprietary information, access denied. They are afraid you are an undercover Austrian KTM agent. Mass paranoia in Spandau when a copy of "Stealing Speed" was left in the executive library next to the designer commode.

It's true! I swear I read it on an internet oil thread!

If two of us knew this, it is a conspiracy theory!

We need one of those hot sht documaybetrue drama artistes to head to Germany and produce something like "Spandau and Me" or "Factory Oil Filled Nation" and get a spot on The View and Oprah and Doctors Oz/Phil. We are only some jittery infrared camera footage away from.....THE ANSWER.

Friday off work, tropical storm Ingrid off the coast, Independence Day holiday weekend (Monday off too), a man has to do what a man has to do.
Just got off the phone with a moto journalist friend in England, it is raining over there too, but the food is better here.

Now, can anyone help out the fellow looking for what kind of oil goes in at the factory? I am betting Spandau will reply in a month with a curtly worded, "Something that is slippery". Being their usual helpful selves.

LOL. Actually, they did respond. First, they were very suspicious why I wanted to know this. Then, they told me to ask my local BMW dealer.
