You need to bring your own bike.

The more people that ride the track, the more likely the manufacturers will bring ADV bikes to demo next time around.

Where the heck is this place? Here's a map
=========
The track is not right next to the show hall.

To get to the track, go down Universal Blvd past the AIMExpo sign and look for the North Concourse. There's free motorcycle parking there, you can buy a ticket to the show there, and then walk in past the street bike demos to sign up to ride.

Spent the last few days here in Orlando. Not sure what to think. This is what the outdoor demo area looks like. Shot mid-day today, during consumer hours. You decide.

Went yesterday afternoon. We drove as Orlando traffic is suicide on a bike. Great show. Worth the trip.

Well, the problem is clear.... you're up in your hotel room looking at it instead of out on the track riding it.

Just found this thread.

Spent several hours there today, although I never made my way over to the outdoor exhibit.

I think it was a great show.

Got to play with so many potential new farkles and other gear that my retirement fund is quivering in fear.

Favorite exhibitors in no particular order.

Twisted Throttle
Sena
Schuberth
Clearwater Lights
Rev'it
Wolfman
BMW MOA

I even got to listen to a presentation by Frank Fritz, the bearded dude from the TV Show American Pickers. (Not sure he really wanted to be here though)

Back at the hotel now watching some football, got a buddy flying in tonight and I will be taking him tomorrow.

Got there early enough to watch the EBR guys unload their bikes...nice.

Not much going on at the track except some 4 wheelers blasting around
So went on in to the expo. Lots of gee gaws and stuff to drool over.
Giant Loop (Thanks for the antelope straps!) Wolfman, Twisted Throttle and lots of others were there. ADV riding and touring was well represented. Pretty mind numbing actually, as more stuff to look at then you could imagine.
I finished off with a stunt show outside and headed for home.

Had a great time! Met the guys at Giant Loop and thanks for the t-shirt! Rode a Suzuki 750 quad around the track...very nice and smooth! Test rode a Yamaha Raider cause it was available when I walked up, also comfy cruiser with some power.

My SO and I got a shit load of swag, ordered a new topcase for my GSA.

It would be nice to see some of the other big bike companies come next year.

I checked out the show today.

Got to demo a Super Ten and a Vstrom 650.

The Adventure course was great. Kudos to the peeps who had a hand in designing and setting it up!

Nice meeting you Ian. That BMW was a gas to maneuver around the Adventure course. Thanks for letting me take it for a ride.

I bottomed the Strom out on a few of the obstacles. That fooker needs more ground clearance.

Sanjoh let me ride the 950se around the course. It's bad ass! Nothing like an oversized 100hp dirtbike.

Scott, it was good to see you again. I'll see you at the Polar Bear Rally in January.

Overall, I thought it was a worthwhile event. I'll be there again next year.

Great Time!

The adventure course was great! I have to admit when I showed up..wasn't sure I was going to take my GSA on the course....then a guy rides a Honda CBR 250 on the course??? Well now I have to go...or I am that guy, you know the one with all the cool stuff but afraid to use it.

Great to see Eloy and Bill...hope I see you guys before the Polar Bear.

Ian great spending time with you.

Sanjo.....cool ktm and good BBQ stories.

Looking forward to next year already!!
