Is there an aftermarket repair service for the 276c now that Garminu no longer supports this model?

I hear from another ADVR'r that he has tried to call the US phone number for Satnav several times with no response...

    Anyone else have a suggestion?

What is the problem with the 276?? If it has to do with aquiring signal, an internal battery replace may do the job. I have 2 376's and a 478 and at least one of the 276's needs its internal bat replaced. At times it really struggles to lock in. From what I understand this, and a few other signal issues are related to the internal battery. There are some good step by step (with pics) how to do this, on the net. There is even a kit on ebay to make this repair.

I have one where the USB connector pulled loose from the PCB. I had contacted Garmin and got the price for them to replace. Called them back a couple of weeks later when I had the coin to get the RMA.... no longer supported... :puke1
