Nitron Adventure Series

When a standard shock just isn’t up to the task…

Specifically designed and built for Dual Sport and Adventure bikes, the Adventure Series shocks offer exceptional year-round road and trail performance like no other.
Using billet aluminum components, Adventure shocks vastly improve the ride/handling of the bike at a significantly reduced weight compared to a standard shock.
Adventure shocks feature heavy-duty 16mm rods and a high-flow 46mm piston, both of which are custom tuned and developed for the demands of long-haul road commutes through to Paris-Dakar style endurance events.
New 46mm "Big Piston" design
Manufactured with a hard-anodised corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy CNC machined body using the highest quality internal components
Piggy-Back or remote 360 degree swiveling hose mounted gas pressure reservoir ± for fade-free consistent high-performance operation
Manual preload adjustment with c-spanner included, or...
Optional Hydraulic Remote Preload Adjuster System (HPA) for quick changes to rear ride-height to vary steering response between road and track (also ideal for shorter riders or for those bikes where the laden weight varies significantly; e.g. from solo to with pillion & luggage)
Adjustable length as standard to fine tune steering speed/response (also ideal for shorter riders who may want to reduce seat height [the typical lower seat height achievable is up to 30mm/1.25"] -please specify when ordering - see above)
Low friction rose jointed eyes where applicable (bike-dependent end fittings may differ from those shown here)
Separate compression and rebound damping adjustment for more advanced bike setup
By far the best value professional race level shock you can buy
3rd piston Shim-Stack for very low speed rebound damping control
Teflon lined low-friction rose jointed eyes where applicable (bike-dependent end fittings may differ from those shown here
Ultra low-friction piston rod seal design
Completely rebuildable/re-valvable with rapid maintenance and support service from Pak-Meister

I've got about a thousand miles on my Adventure Series Race shock in the past couple weeks and it has been great. I'm going to use the ride height adjustment to raise the rear end a bit.

Mine is still sitting in the box anxiously awaiting it's replacement spring, and then I'll have to source a spring compressor and a funky pin-style preload collar tool.

It's now minus 6 at my place this morning with snow forecast for later, and having no garage, I'm a little unwilling to re/re the shock twice, if I don't have to...

Is this the singlesided swing arm Sportclassic? If so a few of us on the Ducati forum were wondering which version shock it is and have you any pictures of it installed on a bike?

Bump
