Tellico Plains, TN Vacation house, sleeps 8

Hi,

Cherie and I are renting our old house for motorcycle vacationers. It's a three bedroom, two bath log cabin.

It sits on the North end of our 76 acres, about 10 minutes out of Tellico Plains, TN.

1216 Rafter Road
Tellico Plains, TN 37385

The house has a queen bed in the master bed room, a queen in one downstairs bed room, a full bed in a second downstairs bedroom, and a day bed with two twin beds in the sitting room downstairs. It can sleep up to 8 people depending on sleeping arraignments.

Full kitchen, huge deck, bath room up stairs and down stairs, covered parking, & room for trailer parking. Wi-fi and Dish TV; but, no land line. Washer and dryer on lower level. There's 76 acres you can walk on . Single track next year.

The property is up against the Cherokee NF on two sides.

Locally,

You're minutes from dual sporting in the National Forest, or street bike riding on the Cherohala Skyway. There's about 70 hiking trails, about 25 bicycle and horse trails, and two single track motorcycle trails in the NF. There is also 500 miles of forest service roads. Trout fishing and white water kayaking in town too!

It's $140.00 a night.

200 yards of gravel from Rafter Road to pump house, relatively flat

paved approach up drive way

front of house

North side of house, gravel lower drive, pavement goes to upper level

covered car port

lots of room for multiple trailers

back of house

upper porch, we ate most of our dinners here

view from porch, lots of song birds

covered lower porch, you can park bikes here too

minutes from this, cool temps at altitude and awesome curves

or this

I'll post some pictures of the interior tomorrow.

to make reservations, contact me or Cherie at:

Thanks for looking!

Very nice Mike, I'll keep it in mind. I can think of a dozen times where I was so exhausted from riding the area around TP, 81 and 82 that I dreaded the thought of going back across the Cherohala / River Road to my home in Sylva. Some of those trips back over to NC were after midnight. Your home could be the "mother ship" for several days of dual sportin' in TN.

It does look nice, but I don't *think* this belongs in the Flea Market as the item is not for sale. Vendors, perhaps?

Dogs are welcome with a $50 pet fee; however, we do have coyotes so little dogs are not a good idea.

Master bed room (queen) with bath, & TV (not pictured), bedroom #1

Daybed with two twin's

Full bed downstairs, bedroom #2

Queen bed downstairs, bedroom #3

Downstairs bath room

In addition, the frig will be stocked with a case of bottled water and a CASE OF BEER!

If you're doing the TAT, I'll scout the water depth on the creek crossings on Whitt Road before you get here. Also, I have tools and a climate controlled garage to work on your bike if need be.

I may be contacting you this Fall. Some friends and I have been discussing taking our wives to the mountains and this looks like the perfect place.
