Az guys......Barteltt Dam Rd North still closed?

I was talking with a guy today who says the north side of Bartlett Dam Rd. is still closed, and it should have been opened up by now for motorsickles. I know nothing about this. Any comments?

It was still closed last week and the ranger station is also closed because of folding.

I've never seen it closed if you come from the other way

We've done the Sheeps Bridge loop several times & rode past a road closed sign facing the other way.

The trails are north of the Bartlett Road and stretch from Cave Creek Road and go east to Bartlett Lake in the old burn area. The trails have been rehabbed and the area should open soon. There four gates I know of to get into that area and you will need a permit just like Bulldog Canyon.

His question and my reply were about Bartlett dam road. Not the trails.

There is private property thru that gate off cave creek road and the property owners are not closing the gate when they go in.

Due to building damage at the ranger station on the Bartlett Road because of heavy rain a few weeks ago, (all employees are working at other locations) the opening of the trails on the north side of the road have been delayed. Some one from the forest service is calling me back with more info later today.
