Will post if I find one.

Should have the last two laps (I haven't gotten that far yet).

Hayes wins the battle and loses the war at Laguna -- Herrin crowned 2013 AMA SBK Champ. Pegram and Fillmore had a ding-dong battle for P3 until the KTM broke on the final lap.

I was really pulling for Hayes to take the championship this year, but it is a testament to how well Herrin has been riding to win his first. Congrats to both!

I, too, was hoping for a Hayes championship, but stupid penalties did him in. Don't know the exact numbers, but Hayes surely won the most races, by far.

Herrin has continue to improve but he's not at Hayes' level yet. Just look at some of the gaps Hayes has pulled over the season.

Sure wish there was some serious competition for the Graves Yamaha team, but I don't see any on the horizon.

Bummed for Hayes. Herrin did what he was supposed to do and its his championship, no question. Hayes was done in by silly penalties AND a crash at Utah AND mechanicals at Daytona. Lots went wrong this year for the best rider in AMA Superike. Guessing Beaubier finally had a fight on his hands in DSB from the margin of victory. He qualified much faster than everyone else (as usual). Any reports on the race?

I was there yesterday but couldn't stay for today. No crowds; as in no one was there. Great access and many more places to view the track due to less vendors and track signage but depressing to see such a small crowd. Perfect weather and reasonable ticket prices so no excuse for a lot of people to miss some great racing. WSBK Race 1 was dramatic. Superbikes are a thrill to see in person and Laguna is a fantastic setting. AMA XR1200 had some excitement as well. O'Hara had to start from the back of the grid due to a mechanical on the warm-up lap, he jumped on the back-up bike and rode brillantly. Watched him pass three bikes on the entrance to the Corkscrew but he couldn't catch Rapp who snagged his first AMA championship. Big paydays for the championship leaders in that class.

I'm not bummed for Hays. His team mate is a toad. Racing incidents cost him, not speed. He's still the boss, and we all know it. I think one of the punks from Norcal will displace him, though.

There are three...

Wow. Sykes did his best "cheap watch" imitation on the last 2 laps.

I doubt it will happen, but I'd love to see Jordan go WSBK for 2014 with Eslick and Hayden and a pair of WSBK spec bikes.

I mean, there is no sign that there will even be a 2014 AMA/DMG season, that I know of.

The Challenger? Made me think about Vanishing Point.
