Heading to Lake Arrowhead for July 4th Holiday anyone else?

My family are heading down there and staying in Arrowhead Villas at my bro in laws cabin. I'm the only rider in that side of the family and I'll be bringing my plated 450exc along for sure. Anyone going to be out there that week and want to put down some miles in the NF? I'm an experienced and prudent dirt rider with good bike and equipment. Let me know if you're around!

Get a plated bike, problems solved
thanks, I know...the moment I find my unicorn (street plated 2-stroke 250 w' desert tank for ~$1,500), I'll sell the 00 YZ250...but turns out they don't come up that often.

Here you go Matt (KrazyKayaker), you are now the god of the mountain here...the thread is exactly a year old, but is almost a clean slate for your new adventures.

Ya might want to have a Mod fix the thread title, is not spelled quite right.

KK, you wanna make this Thread five star material? You already know how to make it happen....crash and recovery stories always help.

did 30 miles this afternoon and rolled the cam the whole time.
I must work on properly gearing the 425- it just can't power through the rocky downhill sections with the front wheel in the air.
A couple good wrecks today. Two of the front wheel touching down and catching rocks in some rocky moguls and one on the pavement. Just a slow speed front end tuck getting krazy in the twisties.

Be there soon! Grew up riding those trails and you have a nice forest in your back yard now.

Hi Jeff, for sure and also I'm finding numerous obstacle sections that are worthy of a tripod for individual filming. You mos def should come up for that.

I LIKE your new sig line and I still need your input with the steep switchbacks like the ones on upj trail.
Good luck to all who wish for becoming better riders and choose to follow nelly
