What are my options for front and rear shocks across all brands that you sell? Sorry, sort of an opened ended question. I'm starting to do research on improving my ride.

Some of my info:

145 lbs
no passenger
occasional luggage up to 30 lbs.
I use my bike for commuting and touring with some sporty riding.
Also, I don't want the bike any taller or lower than it is now.

The bike right now is jarring over bumpy roads. When I go over dips in the road, it feels like I'm on a see-saw. The stock suspension has a rear shock with adjustable preload and damping. I've messed around with the settings and haven't seen much improvement.

Hi Mr. Thorinoakenshield!

The key word is "set" so here's the skinny on what our search-

We also Service and Support all Brands for 25+Years unlike many internet only dealers that have never seen the inside of a shock!

Ohlins is the Only developed "set" - with the most features for the money, surprisingly less than what you may think.

Nitron - (Makes Some Rear shocks but still thinking about front spec/"has a call symbol" so someday they may let us know)

Elka Shocks (Does Not Support that model or offer N/A )

Works Performance ( Only has a Front shk without Rebound / Rear Shock "Doner Style" meaning is retaines "OEM Soviet preloader" (not a lot of features just rebound )

Progressive Suspension (Nadda-) N/A for that bike

Race tech (Nadda-) N/A for that bike

Hyperco (Emulsion shocks and More Expensive Than Ohlins )

These Are the Ohlins, Custom Done for your 145lbs /100% Solo/ Occasional Moderate luggage or loading .

All things Considered they are less expensive than others with better features and a 5 Year Warranty FREE

They BOTH have adjustable Length, Divided Fluid and Nitrogen via floating internal pistons, Rebound adjustable, Rear Spring Hyd. Remote and Compression adjuster

I ride a '08 R1200gs and was curious how much it would take to get the best suspension for my riding style.

I weigh 240lbs, 50/50 street /dirt. I want a do all suspension that handles street riding and also really performs off road.

Also, i wouldn't mind maybe an extra 1" of travel if possible.

Can you pm recommendations and prices?

I don't think I received a reply and if you merely have not had a chance to get to me yet I apologize for rushing you.

I would like something externally adjustable both font and rear if possible to suit on road to really rough off road stuff.

Something similar to what vereist1 above was inquiring about only for a 250lb with gear person.

I ride a factory lowered '09 F650gs twin and am curious how much it would cost to get the best suspension for my ht/weight and riding style.

I weigh 137lbs, am 5'4'', rider 60/40 street /dirt. Looking for something that will do well on both.

Hopefully this won't mean raising the clearance/height of the bike.

Suggestions/recommendation? You can PM or respond here or I can call.

Thanks for your time.

Ohlins top secret ttx

FOX NEWS ALERT!

(Not really)

We Work on Shocks for over 25+ Years, Every day ALL day! Most All brands!

Buy with confidence from Suspension Only People!

The Ohlins TTX "TWIN " wall Independent Fluid Flow design is very Unique.

Unlike conventional Shock bodies that are just a single Tube,

Ohlins "Twin Wall TTX" design makes it possible for fluid to flow in one direction at each compression or Rebound Stroke, and have Truley independent adjusters without any overlap effect.

Shown in this shock, Hi/Low Compression and Rebound with a "piggyback" design.

This makes the fluid "Not Cavitate" under the negative pressure of the main piston side from the opposite direction of the fluid .

(no really its that simple!)

("Well Gaul--lllleeee!")("Shaz-ame!!!)

The fluid Last many times longer than traditional shocks.

This shock as One Example, Is a 2014 KTM

The "arrows" Show The All Hard Steel Alloy Functionally Hardcoated Main Body twin Wall That goes Full length of Body

The "other arrow" shows the body end cone (also a bunch of holes and hi -fuluten pressure ring-dings)that also has a unique design that when fitted allows fluid to go thru bodies "honey-comb" as intended.

The Main Body shown is 52.25mm ID with the inner at 44.25mm.

The Resivoir tube (Gold Thingy) has a floating Nitrogen piston dividing the pressurized fluid and gas pressure that holds in total up to 50% more fluid than conventional shocks.

The main rod has a tunable Valving stack and main piston as well as a tunable stack within the Compression and Rebound Adjusters

The main shaft "Needle and Seat" are made of a material that self adjusts as fluid changes from temperature.

Many Thanks!

Sorry I asked this in November, but I lost my hard drive and your emailed response, so here it is again:
1995 Triumph Tiger
I'm 220 lbs., and ride solo as well as fully packed (add another 100 lbs.)
Mostly macadam, very little gravel/dirt
Want the best ride possible, roads are pretty rough where I live
suggestions for forks?
Stock rear shock is leaking; rebuild or replace? options?

Thanks!

Hi Mr Tiger !

Soorry to hear about Your Hard drive!

Will Pm some Pricing

or feel free to call EASTERN m-f 8-5PM 732-928-7800

The Least Expensive options is a "Full-monte-Rebuild" with better springs, seals, parts ,etc.

Most just send in the bare two front forks and the rear shock to do.

Also popular is a Hi-density Bottom out bumpers on the rear with updated valving.

Hope This Helps!

Thanks

Rear Shock and spring for 2014 Yamaha Super Tenere

Hi Ohlins...I am planning a extended ride with pillion and gear to Central and Soth America this fall. Together we weigh 400 lbs and will have maybe 80+lbs of gear in panniers. What rear shock and spring do you offer to replace the stock spring for the 2014 Yamaha Super Tenere without the electronic adjustable suspension?

Thank You
Carl

Do you guys ship to military APO address? If yes, what would be the cost? I have an Ohlins rear shock on my 2012 Tenere and would like to get a stiffer spring for two up riding.

Thanks
