Intact.

Yes, it really is a very, very unfortunate chain of events.

But that's all there is to it. If they're gonna punish MM for this, they'll need to punish about 20 riders each weekend, who make contact with other riders.

There is a new sheriff in town. He's pissing off the townies. I hope they penalize him a race! He'll still win it and WE get to witness a historic finish.

He's got so much personality, he'll own everybody as soon as he is crowned World Champion. The media; the fans; the sponsors. I am sure the HRC people are being politically correct by chastising their young prodigy in some way. But we all know the kid is a gift for them, without all of CS27's baggage. He's fun, and rides as loose as any dirt tracker we've ever seen. It's a shame he's not from Boston.

Yeah that wire damage was just bad luck. Marquez ran up on the back of Pedrosa but took evasive action and ran off the track to avoid hitting Dani. Unlucky the wire got broken. Funny, as soon as Dani highsided I thought that his traction control must have failed. From now on I am sure there will be some protection for that wire. (Un) Happy Birthday Dani......

A penalty would be pointless as it likely won't get Dani back in the championship hunt. Unless it was so severe as to hand JL the points lead or close to it.

If Dorna does that, then we'll see Marquez really become merciless.

This one should be chalked up to "shit happens."

Agreed. It's not like Marky was thinking, you know, if I nudge Dani just right, I can break off that sensor.

Shit happens. Now that it can be an issue, a guard should cover it so this never happens again.

They could make him start from the back of the grid next race.

You know you want to see that.

I think that would be unfair, yet so entertaining!

Well, like was said after the COTA race, it's only a matter of time before MM takes out someone in the braking zone.

I don't get all the fuss? This is not a gentleman's race. it is winner take all. If you want to get in front of MM you better be able to stay there. He is not going to slow down and let you win. He is a heat seeking missile that is paid to win. period.

And how much more to wait, until that actually happens?

Bautista ramming Rossi and himself out of the race, and straight into a hard fence @ Mugello went unpunished, so if MM making a small contact on a tight situation now leads to a penalty, then Im speechless.

And I actually very much wanted to see DP win the championship this year, so I do feel gutted for him. Extremely unlucky circumstances got him, on his birthday no less. And he looked like a strong candidate to win today.

Us? For sure!

The other riders are already being beaten by a happy, smiling Marquez. I'm not sure they want an angry, vengeful Marquez racing to humiliate them.

Only things I've seen are things along the lines of "Mark's riding is sometimes out of control", which is pretty mild after you've been taken out of a race you had a good chance of winning. And not only making the championship a near impossibility, but putting 2nd in the standings far from reach.

Reportedly, Marquez and Pedrosa spoke privately and shook hands over the incident, so anyone hoping for fireworks is going to be disappointed.

Lorenzo said he's not going to judge, but that his remarks after Jerez -- where he experienced things first hand -- should be referred to.

JLo left the door open at Jerez, should have already known any racer nevermind one the caliber of MM wont need a second invitation. What the hell was he thinking actually??
