For sure no penalty for this incident. Just really bad luck.

Sore losers. I understand your hero isn't leading, neither is mine, but if I had to jump on a bandwagon, I don't mind jumping on Marc's. Even Rossi is on it.

This wasn't a T-bone-sideways--Simo-type incident anyway. It was a touch...ooohh, a touch! His axle didn't go into the spokes FFS- a sensitive component got 1kg of pressure and broke. Can't have that can we! Flat-trackers and Speedway riders are laughing everywhere.

If MM gets even talked to about this it's ridiculous. They guy's a fucking GP saviour as far as I'm concerned.

Also...

The last few laps battle for 3rd was awesome! I was just thinking "If Rossi is 4th again and Vanilla Ice gets on the podium then I'll officially jump off the 46 bandwagon" when the classic Rossi appeared.

I'd like to agree, but VR lucked out when AB and SB started racing and forgot the objective.

Yea, the guy could potentially do what Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel has done before him. Just what motogp needs. If Honda gains any more of an advantage over the field than they already have we are in for a lot of boring races.

Definitely a few lucky incidents from his perspective.

DP (and that jack-off Alberto Puig) is the biggest crybaby in Moto GP.

I'm glad he will never win the championship!

Reportedly, Marquez and Pedrosa spoke privately and shook hands over the incident, so anyone hoping for fireworks is going to be disappointed.

Lorenzo said he's not going to judge, but that his remarks after Jerez -- where he experienced things first hand -- should be referred to.

The only good chance yer little buddy had was for 3rd place.
Wake up and smell the coffee.

If people are going to get into such a snit over a little bit on contact in racing, then maybe they should just send the riders out on the track by themselves in a time trial format. Wouldn't that be exciting?
Processions are boring; passing, slicing and dicing are what makes it most interesting to the fans.

If you have to barge the door open to get through, it wasn't really open.

That said, the sensor cable thing was freaky, and less likely to happen again as Marquez (hopefully) gets more experience and patience. But like swimmer said, what's this savior people speak of? I think Marquez (if he stays in one piece) would be more like Doohan than Rossi -- a great racer that doesn't draw non-fans to the sport through clownish celebrations.

The race I watched Pedrosa closed a gap to Lorenzo after passing Marquez -- is that the one you saw?

Well, the snit is mostly on the the other side.

Pedrosa: "Marquez sometimes rides out of control."
Interwebs: "F***ing crybaby!"

Classic Rossi

Asked for his opinion on the incident, third place Valentino Rossi joked: "I haven't seen the crash, but I think Marc needs to be penalised for two or three seasons! Until I stop racing!"

MM is an animal. Too bad he rides for Honda.
It's good to see Rossi running up front again.
You guys act like Dani has never thrown it away before. I'm sure Hayden feels real bad for him.
