Posted this in the "garage" but thought some of you might find it helpful on bikes with limited wattage stators, or if your just cheap like me.

As a KLR rider I'm looking to be cheap and conserve wattage, I read this somewhere thought i should repost here.

The cheap grip heaters with the resistor don't use less power on low they just heat the resistor instead of the grip, so if you install a 12v automotive 2 wire flasher about $5 it will "flash" on low cycling the power about 50% of the time depending on the rating of the flasher. you simply cut the resistor out and wire the flasher in place of it.

I installed mine like this last week road to Recompance with some FF's and it worked great, not too hot, not too cold it was just right!

are you guys the reason they keep the sheep inside an electric fence?

if you haven't been there the Bow Street Market usually has a good selection of ready to through on the grill skewered marinated meat if you end up cooking in

the electric fence works similar to bringing them to the edge of a cliff, they back away from it . Just don't pee on it .

Return to Recompence

Alright, time to take this thread to a little higher level, "ewe" guys.

Friday night at Buck's, I noticed my wedding ring was missing. Went out to look around the bike and check my gloves. Nothing. Shit.

Next morning, I started to search my campsite, while looking at the carpet of leaves that stretched to Cleveland. This'll never work. Shit.

This morning, I caged it to Recompence with a rented metal detector. Had the place to myself.

Site 104 on a quiet Sunday morning just isn't the same without campfire and friends.

And so to work.... 90 minutes of searching my campsite 114 and the paths to the crappers and water taps yielded a real treasure: a corroded penny and a tarp grommet.

Alright, I'll search a second time where my hammock was hung and then give up.

Annnnnnd...
