950 SE Safari Tank Left Hand Side CF Guard To Give Away

So we have had dreadful luck with these things not sticking and going on their own trip and not coming back, we caught the leftie hanging ready to bail so still have it, our RHS is somewhere in Costa Rica so you are welcome to try and find it to get a pair.

Today is my birthday and I am feeling generous and wanting to reduce stuff we are not using so for any SE owners wanting it it is free to you, you just have to pay the shipping, the guard is good nic, will post a pic up later.

We are in Bogota so in the best place to send it from Colombia to anywhere in the world at your postage or courier cost.

If we don't give it away on here it will be binned as we have been carrying around long enough.

Cheers fellas, rubber bits down.

I had the same issue and my left one was lost and replaced FOC - top guys. Replacement and still stuck on right one now have gaffer tape as well as RTV sealant. If that does not keep them on, I'll probably do the same as you and chuck them. Might be worth sticking it on with gaffer tape just in case?

Cheers

Markie

Hmmm, we tried the new superglue stuff which failed miserably so yeap done with them.

Our right one left us and we got it replaced FOC too but now it has done it for the second time so yeah no gonna spend any more on glues that don't work.

I might try some longer wood screws

What are the chances...

I need a right one too. I have a lonely left one, after 2 different adhesive products failed. The first one happened in my garage. The second one is AWOL.

Thanks for the generous offer!
