Congrats

To Scott and Julie....the place looks like somewhere you could go and never leave, finishing out a long and restful life there, while enjoying the Hell out of it!

place looks great as do the views.
what mtns (mesa) are in the background w/ snow?
eastern flank of the La Sals? Mt Peale?

Scott ,you got any more pics of the views or even something up the hill behind the place to get an idea of the setting and big picture of the property? You need to find someone w/ a GoPro on a small drone plane and trade them some lodging for some aerial footage of the property.

Eakins,
That is a Great idea!!!......That would be some Fantastic footage!
The snowcapped mountains to the north is the LaSal range.......they are east of Moab!..........from the top of the hill to the south of us.......you can see all of the Uncompagrae (spelling?)Plateau ........and looking east from the Cantina front porch you can see the snowcapped mountains around Telluride!!!!........they are just 70miles east of us!!!!
The views around here just go on forever!!!!
If you get 1/2 a chance.......come on out and see us!
It would be Great to meet you!
Scott

Thats cool, used to go camping up that way all the time when I lived in gainesville. Still have a buddy (a Dyer) that lives up there. Beautifull country.

Good luck, Scott. Hope to make it that way at some point.

3 Step Hideaway

The DFW Gang stayed at the # Step Hideaway in May 2014. 19 of us lived there for the week. Made daily rides out and back, each day. Plenty of places to ride! The owners and staff there made us VERY comfortable and took care of all our needs. Shop, tools, changing tires, suspension adjustments, you name it, they can support you. We had a BLAST and will be back.

Thumb A great stay at 3 Step Hideaway!

My riding partner, Bob Lovell and I stayed at 3 Step as our turn-around on the TAT and COBDR.
We really needed a soft bed and a good meal after riding the Colorado passes the day before.
Scott showed us the "back door" route to Slick Rock, CO. Not only was this a great ride with cool terrain, but it cut off over 40 miles of repeat miles back through Dove Creek.
