LED Light Bar instead of dual spot lights

My new bike has some non functioning cheapo lights and I was looking at putting on some visionX lights or a single light bar. Besides the ability to aim to the left and right what is the advantage of going with two spots as opposed to one 8in light bar?

I was looking at something like this: http://www.visionxusa.com/LED-Xmitte...217/index.html

I am just looking to be a little more noticed during the day and supplement the poor lighting on the road at night (during high beam use)

You will typ get more distance out of a good set of Quality LED lights than a light bar, but its not quite that simple, as all led lights are not equal.
I happen to know somewhere you can get a ADV discount on that light bar
I use both
