It was alright. Some incident or another caused slow traffic on the way home. I wish lane splitting was legal.

With that kind of inattentiveness, you're lucky we'll let you come at all. You can make up of it by buying the us beer the whole weekend.

I sure hope the caterer can do it that weekend.

Location: ajayhawkfan's cabin near Blue Mound, KS (N38 08.830 W95 02.402) There is plenty of camping available. There is also space in the barn if anyone want to go without a tent.

Saturday dinner September 27th at cabin cooked by Rusty Jug BBQ (To be confirmed and price per plate determined based on number committed) http://www.rustyjug.com/
I spoke to Todd at Rusty Jug. He has us on the calender. Is everyone still OK basing out of my place near Blue Mound, KS? If you want to chance it to KC I need to let Todd know.

If still a GO for the cabin here are some thoughts.

Friday Lunch: (if timing is right) Q39 It is in KC it is new and fantastic http://www.q39kc.com/ or Hillsdale Bank BBQ, Hillsdale KS http://hillsdalebankbarbq.com/

Friday Night: If people are tired we can do the Blue Mound BBQ it is close or Northside BBQ in Pleasanton, KS (no website but very good. Only place I have every seen smoked corned beef. )

Saturday Lunch: Guy & Mae's Tavern in Williamsburg, KS fantastic ribs http://www.yelp.com/biz/guy-and-maes...n-williamsburg or Sugarfoot & Peaches in Fort Scott, KS http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...tt_Kansas.html If interested in history, Fort Scott is one of the forts that was on the old Military Post Road that ran from Fort Snelling to the Fort Jesup, LA.

Saturday Dinner: Rusty Jug at my cabin. Dinner will run between $10-$15 depending on number and what meat.
