I've got a meeting at my office in Overland Park next week, and I know they are having OK Joes cater it. I cannot wait to go to this stupid meeting, simply for the lunch. The BBQ in KC is ridiculous.

I need to seriously consider putting this ride on my calendar. Are you planning on heading down early Fri morning, or leaving Thurs some time? Or is it a everyone get down there when then can type of thing?

Sums it up well. It's a case of what works for you. Nearer the time we'll have places and times established so that you can plan.

Last time a number of different small groups made the trek down in their own way.

Maybe have a pre and post dinner weigh check and then charge by the pounds.

In related news, my bottle of Artur Bryant's sauce is almost empty.
I will have to make due with my emergency rations until September.

I hope to make it to Hiawatha. Maybe we can trade a bottle of Bryants for some quality MN/WI beer (just not wheat beer).

If I had friends I would bring them with but since I don't I suppose I'll go it solo.

Yes - a fine goal is to pick up a bottle of each during the weekend.

I really liked that OK Joe spicy.
