Track

I went to your website. That track is huge! What's an average lap time?

Lap times

Lap times varied as night fell and thick fog rolled in. Fastest lap for the HeavyWeights team was 53 minutes. These guys were incredibly consistent. There were some very tough rocky (boulders) sections, tough on a lite weight dirt bike, I don't know how they did it on a 500lbs Adventure bike.

Official result was a 2nd place in Sportsman Class and 17th overall out of 96 teams!

Pit row Saturday morning

The pit, it was busy, but everyone was ready to go out for each of the 25 laps completed.

This is what awesome looks like when you line it up.

These guys can ride

Unfortunately that bike didn't last long.
My big blue ended up playing double duty with both myself and Iron Mountain Racing riding it.

My favorite laps where at night, Go figure.

It was a blast!! I was on the Orange 990 and should have some pics up tonight.

The whole team was amazingly consistent and everyone turned in amazing lap times!!

It was an honor to ride on the team for sure and did we turn some heads

Here's a shot I took of the pits on Saturday morning.

You guys are insane. That would be a tough race on a light two stroke. Are you doing it again next year?

I think this is just a start of our team big bike racing. The team jelled very well, no issues, no problems that could not be dealt with. A great group of guys that Im proud to have as friends.

a few more photos, courtesy of Bob.

I agree with what Darryl has said, I believe its just the beginning of the Team Heavyweights. I've never raced a 24 hour event before, its an absolute blast! We ook forward to showing people with the right rider's, and support these bikes can be very competitive...

Things get real when the sun goes down

Fog rolled in middle of the night, the Cyclops LED lights were a huge advantage, we just had to pop on the amber covers.

Lucky bastards, got to run a 24 hour race, with the best swag, and kick ass support. What a blast. Hope you run it again next year so I can be there in person instead of this vicariously bullshit.

The support we received was incredible. We where very lucky, but it also takes a lot of work.
We will be there next year and a few other races before then.
