very nice! Post up when/if you get some video posted would love to see what the course was like. I lined up for a 2 hour hare scramble in GA at the end of last year. very fun and the bike really worked better than I had expected. maybe you guys need to come to the SE and try one of our "tighter" courses. :)

but congrats on a great finish. would love to do a 24 hour race on the big bike (if I were in better shape!). I did a 24 hour MTB race in west virginia in '92, really had a blast and I bet it would be fun on the twins.

maybe I'll see if they will do an ADV class at the Perry Mtn 24 hour race. ;)

Thanks.
We will continue racing the big bikes.
Cyclops has been a long time sponsor of the Perry Mountain 24hr, we are considering bringing the Heavyweights to the 24 hr next year, The course would fit the bikes well, but we don't want an Adventure class, we race against the 450's

Perry Mtn on a Adv bike....... It's ballzee but doable. If you do it let me know and if you need an extra rider let me know. I might be crazy enough to ride a leg of it on my KTM Adv.

Team Heavyweights

Team Heavyweights WILL be attending a few races this next year! Perry Mountain, and Vegas to Reno along with a few others are on the tentative list.

24 hour racing is a whole different animal that I truly enjoy, this last race at Starvation Ridge was one of the most fun races I’ve done in a long time.

Having the industry support, rider support, and pit support we had truly makes a difference in the success competing on these big bikes.

Wait till you see the photo's and race reports and video once things are put together...

You'll be wanting to join us that much more, which we are discussing in taking the “Team Heavyweights” into much larger spectrum than it currently is.

So with this being said and just a thought at this time, how many people would be interested in becoming “Team Heavyweight Members”. There would be benefits of course with swag, pit support, and product support.

How many people are seriously interested in racing their ADV Bikes in local and national events? Competing against the smaller bikes takes a bit of commitment, and skill but if you are willing it can be some of the most fun you’ve had on a bike, it sure has been for myself!
Cheers,
Alex

Count me in. Might have some industry contacts as well....

Have done a local hare scramble on the 950 and some "little bike only" DS rides but always looking for something fun to do with the big bike.

Received my cool shirt from this event today.Kind of strange that I have a shirt and was not there in person, but I was there from a distance and hope it helped a little bit with the charity donation.

I love it when someone says for dirt bikes only, or you cant come unless you get your dirt bike, That's kind of the way this whole thing started.
Those are words that will get you roosted.

What a great time!

We Finely got the film done. Special thanks to Gary Piazza of Gap productions . Unfortunately we didn't have much helmet cam footage to really show what the course was like, Time to invest in some new cams..

Thanks Mike
We intend on a lot more racing with the 9x0's. The Team really worked well together. What a great group of guys, pit crew included.

I'm more and more interested...but the "competition" part of a race is not for me, really....I just wanna ride, make myself a better rider, and not piss off or dissappoint anybody in the process. Anybody in for "heavyweights that don't care if we come in last" ??
