A short video of last years rides around the US

I put together a short video of my rides around the US last year. I am leaving this July for three more months around the US, Canada, and Alaska. Will put together my first ride report of the trip as the ride progresses. Enjoy, thanks.

Nice scenery and music. Looks like you had a lot of fun and are well-equipped.

Is it time to expand the riding area? Maybe tour Europe?

Thanks! I would love to go to Europe. I have lived vicariously through many of the great ride reports here on the forum. I will be retiring this summer and will finally have the time to slow down and enjoy more of the beautiful country we have. There are a lot of places I have never been to in the lower 48 and Alaska.

Really nice mix of video and stills. Did you just stumble onto some of those trails and snow tunnels or were they on your map? Thanks for sharing, your video is really giving me cabin fever.

That snow trail is going over and down Ophir Pass between Silverton and Telluride the first of June. Awesome pass but a handful on a big GS. Wanted to do the pass before I got too old and decrepit to pick the bike up if I crashed. All was well though. Thanks for watching.

You are proof, even after we "gray", life is still full of colors. Ride On.

Thanks. I plan on living another 100 years to try and get back a small part of the monies I have paid into social security!

Very nice video! I enjoyed the high quality, quick pace and of course the beautiful sights! Brought back memories of my visits to many of those same areas.

Also, to me, this was much nicer to view than some of the overly looooong, low quality, self-important, go-pro vids of some guy trying to "prove himself" on some "gnarly trail".

Thanks. I know what you mean with long videos of just the road going by. I try to keep things interesting as best as I can with my stuff. My videos are works in progress and I'm still learning to edit. See you on the road, cheers.

Actually it doesn't take that long. I just grab a bunch of photos and clips then use iMovie on my MacBook to drag and drop everything in some semblance of order I like. Adjust the timing a bit. Then just add some music. I am a techtard that uses technology to make others think I know what I am doing :)
