great ride

It was a great ride yesterday guys. 314 miles for me. it was great meeting you both and I look forward to riding with you guys again. You guys can really ride those KLR's And old One-Peg John was pretty amazing after shearing off the left peg on a rock. He was still standing up on the trails (using the rear peg) Quite the sight

Did a quick 220 mile ride today on the FJR with 2degrees out. Rode out to Rivers Edge Restaurant on the Gasconade River in Fredricksburg MO for lunch. They said that two months ago the river was lapping on the restaurant steps If you've ever been there you know what I'm sayin'

Just made it home, I had to bail on the ride, didn't realize until too late that I didn't pack the rain gear or jacket, I took EE off 185, rode up to my cabin and took it easy. Those KLR were screaming, personally, I hate the wet asphalt, I've washed out before, it wasn't pretty... Friggin cold ride home today sans jacket, live and learn.
