Option 1. Ride a ton of sand whoops on the BigO and LittleO and Lincoln Hills loops.
Option 2. Ride heavy sand roads that are the ATV,UTV route and dodge maniac full blast riders/drivers.
Option 3. Ride forest roads and good gravel roads. Low difficulty factor, but largely empty areas. Most fun IMO, but easiest to get lost on . need to know how to cross 4 river systems in Lake Co and Wexford Co.
Notes to OP.......
Stay out of Manistee Co if possible. They dislike bikes.
Lake and Wexford are quite bike friendly on the other hand.
Good places to eat...
Club 37 at Wolf Lake (also has best bike shop, Peacock Motorsports)
Emerson Lk Inn, US 10 in Walhalla.
Twin Creek Bar, Old 63 near Carrieville.
Mushroom Bar/Grill, M115 in Mesick.
More info.... stay out of LUTHER. This is the only place in Lake Co with an anti-ORV attitude!
Hope this all helps. This is my backyard all through the summer
