I wonder if there was another racer who was just as aggressive as MM- would it tone him down or just light a stronger flame under Marquez's butt. Probably the latter.

I doubt that his old "pal" Pol will be near the pointy end next year, but after that??

Keep in mind, much of what race direction is interested in is that the exposed sensor wire was compromised. The investigation is not solely focused on Marquez and his actions.

Stop trying to sate my lust for blood with your common sense and logical reasoning!

You may have your thirst for vengeance satisfied yet. There is no telling how this will turn out.

That is precisely why you don't want your fate in the hands of the officials.

To me, the logical setup is to have the TC go into safe mode until the rider pushes a button to release it from duty. Saves the bike, gives the rider time to realize the problem, and carry on.

Look, we can't have posters bringing logic or common sense in to these threads. You need to toss a molotov cocktail or two and then let the insults fly!

I'd like to see "Rider Control" instead of "Traction Control" again... Riders using them fingers, hands and wirsts to control the bike instead of relaying in a computer to stay onto the bike.

I remember seing Stoner in the Duc. back in the days opening full trhottle in the middle of a corner and the bike accelerating sooooooooooo slowly. That's no driving, any monkey can just full trhottle a bike, but not many of them can "Control" it...

Anyway TC discussion off

It's gonna be difficult not to see the spaniards in the podium again, maybe VR could get a third place...

well it does require a fair bit of skill to go fast on these machines, even though they have TC.

Not sure how you raced, but getting in a little too hot like MM did there was a big part of my "calculations" on a "safe pass".

Maybe you were watching a different pass than I did but it is very obvious that Marquez knew he was there and turned into Pedrosa. I am not naive enough to think he intentionally had plans to crash Dani or anything like that but he forced contact that in no way was necessary.
You're telling me that you calculate contact into your "safe passes"?
Granted, it's been a while but if I forced a pass like that in CMRA, CRA or WERA, the guy that I caused to crash would be searching the pits for me to see if it was physically possible to punt my nuts through the top of my head or to see if he could invert my nose with his fist.
Marc could have easily ran that turn a little wide and not made contact in some valiant effort to force the pass on Dani...and then recovered within half a lap.

All the evidence is right there in the replay...

yep, if it was simply a matter of twisting the throttle, then how come only a few are winning? Still take incredible skill to ride these bikes at their limit, and only a handful of riders have that skill, traction control or not, the fast will still be the fast.

Wow, just dropped in and read the last page or so... we need some racing to start, and soon!

Holy crap, isn't this the "Asian Flyaway" thread and not the general "MotoGP 2013" thread? Debate all the MM pass antics and 'poor DP' shit elsewhere fer chrissakes.
