A very warm and heartfelt congratulations to the both of you

And I must say, it doesn't surprise me a bit

What did surprise me, though, was getting all teary-eyed when I read your honey saying he asked you to take your helmet off. I knew what was coming!

More pics from the Zen ride on that beautiful PNW morning! MustangShelly led the way out towards the old Red Hill GS. We all stopped at this little over grown road going off to the left. There we reshuffled the rider order and bounced up the rocky road and ducked under the low branches. A few of us even ended up on the Peterman single track tour!

Tblume shows off his balls.

Back at the ranch Shelly takes the Dizzer 400 out for a ride!

And this little piggy got eaten up by all of the motorcycle riders!

These FF's even got some work done over the weekend too!

Oh no, did Oldmonkeybut pull his groin?

Thats all the pictures I have. Didn't get any on the way back home it was too wet and cold.

Thank you everyone for good times and more memories made at the AVR!

Day 6 Headed home

Woke up to the sound of rain. Was pretty light but enough for us to change our route and head back east.
B50Paul came with us for breakfast and the ride to Dufur.

I love the change as soon as you leave the wet side of Oregon. Back into the sun.

We thought there was fuel in Dufur but we were wrong! No big deal, Paul had plenty to make it to The Dalles and we had enough to make it to Maupin.
Off our separate ways we went. Great meeting you Paul!

Dufur

Gas in Maupin

Head out on Bakeoven Road

Into Shaniko

And down to Antelope

To a road we thought would bring us to Ashwood.

Until we hit this. You can just about see Ashwood from here.

So we looped back to HWY 218 and south on HWY 97 for a bit, then took a dirt road torward Grizzly Mountain.

That's all for pics!
We pretty much slabbed it back via Lone Pine and the Oneil Highway to Redmond, the back roads into Bend. 838 total miles and another great trip!

The End!

Ooops! Forgot something.

So the day before I left, Wachs tells me he spilled the beans over the phone to B50Paul about me popping the question . So Paul had a present waiting for us.
Canadian Love Chickens he calls them!
Anyway, here they are as promised Paul! There will be more too I'm sure.
Thanks!

Wait...I thought you were marrying LittlePosum?

And did B50Paul say yes even though you asked him over the phone? If so, congratulations...assuming that sort of thing is legal in Oregon.

I still think you should marry LittlePosum, though

I'm glad it was dry one big set of hills over in Dufur for your trip home !!

What a funny place to meet, out in the forest, about 10 miles outside of Friend, OR, of all places

Congrats and thanks for sharing
I think you view might have been better than hers, but I digress...

Sad to have missed it but I am pretty sure most of you would have done the same...

I would have to agree with you. Paul's not really my type!
