Best Adventure Seat!!!

First post so bear with me. I ordered the sport version of the Day Long Russell seat after 5000 km of trying to break in the stock PITA seat. Russell seat gets my vote hands down. Four hour none stop ride is no problem - except for fuel so I can keep going. Standing on pegs works as well. The side "wings" help so you can squeeze the bike to keep you in place.

Thinking about a seat myself. I have the stock and the gel seat the previous owner bought. Like the stock better. On both of them the cut out is about 1.5 inches too far forward for my liking. Would rather have a seat that doesn't have a cut out but still allows 2-up seating.
Anyone know of a seat maker/dealer near Memphis or Nashville I can try before buying? (Regular Adventure)

That is exactly the amount of foam I cut out of SC seat to get it comfortable.

I was running a seat concepts seat for some time and it was ok, Very recently switched over to a Renazco seat and cant be happier, James knows what he's doing and makes one great product!

Renazco Best all around seat but was to tall for me to ride two up

Russell day long best street

seat concepts low seat, low dollar great seat. I have been using this one for the last 5000 and I am very happy with it. I ride two up and she likes this seat.

I've had a Renazco on my 950SE for the last 4 years. The Renazco is a big improvement over the stock seat but IMO it's not the ultimate SE seat. I'll continue to use the Renazco but I'm still looking for "right" seat for me. I've heard a lot of good things about Bill Mayer seats.

Yep, when I talked with James, he specifically asked if I was going to be places where it rained a lot. When I said South America he suggested against the Suede and Leather and steered me towards the vinyl. I am surprised he didn't do the same for you.
