I think it was CarlosM who said yesterday; "Only a true alien can open the stage and win..."

The old Alien still has it...

Sam and Baredda have parted ways I think.
Sam took the direct route to the racing line while Baredda is hunting that missed WP.

And Chaleco is just in front of the HRC scrum, dragging both boots and an old 2CV engine hood behind him to kick up as much dust as possible...

Let Coma and Speedy fight it out mano au mano up front I say...

Yep... Sam will likely have an extra time penalty on todays SS result, if he missed that one... but maybe his primary goal (now) is to get back up front to be close to Paulo... whereas Joan needs to pin the WP (before continuing the route) if he is to maintain a chance at the rally overall/podium.

EDIT: sorry - you said Helder... Sam missed the WP (seems likely) and pressed on... Barreda went back to get it. Yes, Sam and Helder are close together now

Here are Coma and Gonc with the same time stamp.

About 5 minutes between them witch would mean Coma has pulled a 1 minute lead. (4 minutes gap at the start)

Morning :sip

I believe Honda may have wanted a Rally victory more than a World Champion on their team (specially because most part of that title would be won riding an Husqvarna). Me thinks.

But BamBam navs isn't helping them.

Go Speedy

anyone else notice that Coma and Goncalves' trackers are "pinging" at a much higher frequency than the others today (or since before in this rally)... It gives a much higher resolution of their path across the piste, relative to each other and the rest...

That could have been the position - I think it's off the menu now though
