Speedy for the Rally - Championship level on points - Coma takes it 3 wins to 2 - I think

Gonk skins it
BamBam (nav) bins it
BG stage wins it (well done Grabbo)
And Coma... well he led the whole stage, the kamikazes took a dive at him over the final stretch... but still he was the blood hound everyone chased. MC is on a (now as always) on a proven team, with a new rocket and this week show's he can still take anyone to the mat.

I'd say that he "grins" it.

January will be exciting.

If I am not mistaken (once again): Speedy Gonçalves will have won the Rally Maroc and Marc Coma is second. Regarding the World Championship it will be reversed: they will be tied in points but Coma has more wins.

Well, f5ine f5olk, Sam's in the barn safely and I hear my bunky calling.
I enjoyed it mightily and I'll look forward to seeing you all again in January.

It's a very nice star, but as Sam was drawing a triangle at the time he hangs on to 4th and Sam 5th overall

Phew, enough for now - will catch up again on Tuesday for Merzouga and then in January!

Don't know about the stage win (penalties?) but figured about the championship. We were all forgetting ( the F5orce was weak today )

If the rider participates in five or less events of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies
World Championship, all his results count for the general classification of the
Championship. If the rider participates in six events of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World
Championship, the total of his results minus the worst result counts for the
general classification of the Championship
Paulo Gonçalves is indeed the World Champion.

5 out of 6 events then - !/we didn't pick up on that; with double points in Brazil that was the clincher then - all that sweating for nothing as he very much had it in the bag!

Ok, so, I arrive at work and people keep asking why I was late . It was pretty weird when I told them that I missed a couple of way points and had to go back

Thanks people, I really enjoyed this thread and looking forward to January. For me, Even though Speedy won it, Coma shows that he is a hell of a navigator while being the fastest opening the leg...

Back to work boys...
