Southern Pines, NC ... sandy areas to ride?

Are there any areas/trails to practice riding in sand around Southern Pines? I've seen plenty of sandy areas from the air, but, I think they are all inside the Fort Bragg fence-line.

Not sure what you're riding or how far you want to go but you're not that far from Cheraw, SC and the Sandhills with TONS of public sand-roads...

This is where they have the Sandblast Rally, and you can ride those roads all day long.

go north to Carthage, and then on to Robbins. then to Chatham county--Bennett. There are dirt roads every where in that area.
