I assume that means that the AMA waiver card does not count?

Also, this conflicts with VCHSS at Pipsico (not that Donovan's racing this year).

I'll put it on my calendar and we'll see. And sharing with other off-road riders I know who do not participate with VCHSS. :)

timing

Too bad that is the same date as the VCHSS hare scramble race which is happening right down the road at the 301 riders club land. I love riding Eagle Bay, but I'm not going to miss the race.

October and November are filled with rides. We try and schedule around everyone, but we take what we can get.

Good luck at the race and we hope to see you at the Spring Trail ride!

No it's not.

The VCHSS race at 301 is Oct 27th.

As I said above, Nov 10th is Pipsico.

I am checking on this with our referee. I am unsure of how the annual waiver works. Thank you for your patience.

Depending on the trail conditions, I may have to bring the 990 this time

Thanks for hosting another great event at Eagle Bay. I was having ankle issues and wasn't able to ride but my daughters did. They had a great time as always. The weather was great, the trails seemed to be in awesome shape and the people were fantastic...who could ask for more.

The girls started out on the Pee Wee grass track to warm up. The oldest, BreeAnna just moved up to the TTR 125 a couple months ago and is still learning the clutch.

Her younger sister moved from a TTR 50 to the KLX 110 and loves it...

Then it was time to head into the woods on the 2-mile novice loop... These trails are our "home" riding area and the girls know the 2-mile loop pretty good. With the amount of riders and their riding abilities, I really wasn't worried about them riding the loop without me. As it turned out, I didn't have a chance to worry about it even if I wanted to, Kathy from the WATR group offered to ride the loop with Cheyenne and ended up riding with the girls all day...
Not sure if she was taking it easy on them or they on her, but all three seemed to be having fun

After we got the truck loaded up at the end of the day, the girls went looking for Kathy to thank her for riding with them. Kathy even gave them a few pointers on how they could ride better...Thanks Again Kathy

All in all, The event had a pretty good turn out and was a great day riding for a very worthy cause...Looking forward to the Spring Ride

Here are some of the other pictures I took today. If anyone wants a copy of the original photo, just shoot me a PM.

The WATR rides are great family events, we had Dads riding with Daughters, Moms riding with sons, Dad with sons, and friends riding with friends..

There were all kinds of bikes and riders...

This bike caught me by surprise when it came around

Love the plate on this DRZ

The WATR group is really a great bunch of people, besides Kathy riding with and coaching my daughters, one of the other WATR crew spent a couple hours helping one of the riders troubleshoot and fix his bike so he could get some laps in. The bike had just been bought used and was the rider's first bike...with out the WATR guys help he wouldn't likely have gotten the bike running at all.

Thanks for sharing the pictures! I'm glad the family had a good day. Don't let Cathy fool you.. She is an ecea Enduro class champion your girls were learning from one of the best.
