Anyone riding in Baha ATM? I'm in Guerrero Negro and heading south. I'm keen to do more dirt roads but being quite conservative after dropping my heavily loaded DR several times on a sandy track the other day. At one stage it took me 30 mins of struggle to get out from underneath the bike. Id love some company. If feel better about more off road if not alone. My Spanish needs a lot of work too! I'll probably end up in Santa Rosalia tonight. Pm me if you'd like some company too. Hopefully I'll have some wifi to check. I'm headed for La Paz then mainland down to Tapacula where I'll volunteering an orphanage for 8 weeks. Then further south. Hoping to get to the southern tip of south America

crashbad, are you still doing your weekend trips to Baja? I'm planing to take a few trips there myself this summer. Family is going out of town for the summer. Let me know if you want to get together and do a weekend trip. I live in San Diego.

Just sent you a PM. Other travel plans came along and haven't made a trip to Baja yet this summer. There's a small chance of making it over 4th of July weekend. I'll let you know If I can make it happen.

Ride And surf and Lobster?

A new south swell will be rolling in on the 15th of this month and kick in with some size on the 16th. I would like to roll south EaRLy on the morning of the 15th, maybe surf the San Quintin area in the afternoon, then maybe head to Punta Baja, waking up to overhead juice on the 16th. Could camp it or hotel it but probably both. The surf should be good for the week. I'm taking my Te610 with surf rack...The dirt riding will be at a sedate pace. No tipping over on my board...Let's roll....

There should be lots of secret spots lighting up with the new incoming swell. Saw some amazing pics from a couple spots this last weekend. I am already committed for the dates you have planned or I'd be looking to join.

Still don't have a board rack for my 990 yet though. Post up a pic of your set up.

The two pieces of the Carver Rack sandwhich between the bikes rack. like so...

In this photo you can see that I have also secured the front of the board to my tank bags. This is key to making good time down the Highway at above highway speeds...

The Carver racks have several different mounting options. This one is the 'scooter rack'..

Secret spots eh...Maybe offshore, but even those aren't so secret..

THAT, is fucking awesome.

If only I was capable of riding a board shorter than 10ft.
