I just had to bail on a trip because of work. This thread is a perfect way to keep reminding me that I have to get back down there.

I've found in the last couple years that riding big adv. bikes has presented a whole new challenge. We try to go down 3-4 times a year. Our next scheduled trip with a large group will be presidents day weekend. I'll be leading the group of big bikes ( we break off into groups based on skill level or big bike and race bikes). I'd be happy to have some others along. I know Baja very well and "will guide for beer"
I'm up for this, when is Pres weekend? I don't really need a guide, have been to Baja about 100 times (mostly surfing) in the last 50 years, but it would be fun to go with a small group

Back in the day I rode my beat up vespa down to baja.
I had some camping gear and pretty much zero clue.

Amazing trip and you see a lot more putting along at 35 mph.
After getting back, I was hooked and needed to find a faster more suitable bike.
That's how I found advrider.com and the benefits of BMW whale foreskins. . .

Got to get down there again soon
