I used http://www.alliedmotorcycleshipping.com/
to ship my bike from San Diego to Seattle. Two guys showed up so there's plenty of muscle to handle the bike. They lashed it to M/C-specific pallet while at my house and it stayed on there until it got to the destination in Seattle. No damage, no problems, no stories.

You'll get a better rate with all movers if you're flexible with pickup date/time.

Nice thread

Nice info, what are you paying. I have friends that ship their bikes around for competitions. And buying out of state bikes. Trials bikes costing $200 and a bit more if you are paying someone else to crate it. I know this is a low end price so that's why I am wondering about price. Sometimes it cost a night in the motel or a couple of dinners to have a friend tow it for events.
