I don't know about time but I do know there's one trophy you DO NOT want to win.

Bike rocks are the medium sized rolling rocks that stay with you from the top of the hill all the way to the bottom of the hill.

Depends on how many seats are available at Los Hermano's. Anything in the top ten generally will have a place to sit.

I'm not really trying to scare anyone away, we have had some issue in the past. One guy unfortunately just was not healthy enough to complete the ride & OldtimerTC sacrificed his ride to help a group bail out, we've had several people get less than a mile in & say "screw this" and go home after hauling a bike all the way out there. Last year we had a a very determined gentleman (who I respect a great deal) that was over his head , it put a dampner on the tail end of the ride & if he wasn't such a tough old fart, could've easily ended in injury. None of us want to see anyone get hurt, we want to laugh at each other & take pictures when someone bust their ass, but not get hurt

If you are confident in your ability to complete the ride after looking at the ride reports, come on out & play.

Perhaps AZTom can drop off the Mountain and join us.
Mark, I might just do that. Gotta see when we get back from Tucson
Thanks

Los Hermanos - for a few cold ones

In !

I just confirmed I only have to be available on Black friday for work this year.

Look forward to it, and Like Big E, I prefer going down Honda Hill .

Going up it, requires Honey at the top.

I passed the staging area last weekend, on the way to a trials event in Oak Flats. Aidan even remembered bring the donuts, out to you guys.

Have fun, best of luck with the ride.

OK, I'll bite............

What's the trophy for, and who are the past years winners?

It's for injured riders. Buddy started it with the whole javelina incident....

Each person who holds it adds something to it for something to do while they're recovering.

Like cyberdos said, you don't want that trophy!

Hmmmm, now I feel like the character in the movie The Right Stuff who played Scott Carpenter a young (that part I don't feel like) cocky fighter pilot bragging at local watering hole outside the base. He was telling everyone that he was such a great test pilot that they would be putting his picture up on the wall with rest the pilots.

What he didn't know, but was informed, was that all those pictures of the pilots were on the wall because they were dead...........

That is where it was 1st presented & that's where I gave it to Terry as well. Each recipient has to decorate it in honor of the next persons accident.

Recipients:
4play Knee
Rattlecan Twice Wrist both times
Reidy008 Ankle
Slowred Twice Same collarbone both times
Big E Ankle leg & shoulder (he really earned it)

Did I miss anyone?

We're hoping it stays put & quits growing..
