You have to make a comeback and actually ride again to earn the trophy.
I think the comeback should be doing the Coke Ovens and no Girly man rides.
I'm now a Girly Man, so keep the sinkin trophy.

I had to go back through other reports to look at all the great shots that everyone took. This is a super fun ride with some of the most scenic spots around, good times.

The DR's office called yesterday to confirm my eye procedure, looks like all the stars are lining up. I will be on this ride in spirit like seabee1 this year and will be eagerly awaiting the RR and the photos.

Everyone have a fun and safe ride...............

There was no Ovens pre ride, but I did a loop Sunday from Hewit station road that went by Ajax mine & out by the High School. Looks like the rains & 4x4's have added a little more of what we dig about this ride

Kickstands up at 8:30, be prepared for a rock fest. One of the more experienced riders on this loop had a pinch flat yesterday so air your tires up a bit & be prepared to fix your own bike while we take pictures of your prowess.
Temperatures look like a high of 64, the weather should be perfect!

Were you the 3- 4 strokes behind the old guy on the gasgas that had to pull over and let you by? I can hardly wait to try to chase you guys around come Saturday, count me in plus 1

I was asked which way we're going this year, I'm planning counter clockwise to the Ovens & the group most likely will split up there with some continuing out battlaxe & the rest returning the way we came in. The 1st rocky hill we come to going in that direction is only a few miles from the staging area, anyone having second thoughts can easily flip us off & get back to the safety of the parking lot

So we are going up Honda Hill?

Any expectation for the first down being the moment we hit the first sand?

Counter clockwise would be down Honda Hill. The only part of the sandwash that scares me is the jeeps & side by sides coming the other way. I've had a real good look at a jeep grill & knocked a mirror off in the process. Not fun

Humm....

If we are going counter clockwise, that would be down HH. Then if you are planning on returning the same way back to the trucks, that would be up HH!

I do not like HH going up....
