Can you give us an angle of spread for these new lights as well as the LR4's?I could not find that info on your sight. The LR4 is called a flood, but no angle of dispersion listed...how about the new 5 LED unit? Thanks...

The LR4 is a 30 degree pattern, and the LR5 is a 25 degree pattern. Both lights have a strong focus down the middle as well.

Five months on I continue to be impressed with my LR4s. Spent the weekend riding gravel in TN and several riders remarked how visible I was thru trees/corners while approaching... mission accomplished

Just an FYI folks - We're extending the $10 dimmer with a pair of LR4's Flood's deal for a few more months. That's a $15 savings on top of our standard ADV discount.

http://ledrider.com/shop/?model_number=LR4P-D

Also, our new LR5 lights are live on the site now.

http://ledrider.com/shop/?model_number=LR5P

Feedback from the first few sets has been great. We'll be extending the "LR520" discount code for a few more weeks on these amazing lights. That will give you 20% off on a pair of LR5's!

Dimmer/ CanBus fight

I attempted wiring my new lights with the dimmer over the weekend . I ended up with a Front DRL warning on the dash. Everything worked as wired as well as the factory lights (DRL included). I tore everything out and the warning is gone. I used , as directed the blue high beam wire Scothlocked to the blue dimmer wire to trigger full on. Bike is 2014 KTM 1190 R. Comments or suggestions?

Please shoot me an email to justin AT ledrider.com. We'll need to do a little research to see if we can figure out what the issue is.

Fixed

Not sure exactly what happened. I have been in conversation with Justin at LEDRIDER. As a result ..implementing a diode was suggested to stop the possible 2-way traffic on the blue wire. Diode didn't allow the dimmer to work. Took diode out , tried again, everyone's happy! Thanks to Justin for outstanding support. Must have been a combination of sleep deprivation and alcohol.

Must have been something wired the wrong way the first time around. Glad you got that working :)

I'm going with .........that there is already a diode in the dimmer bypass circuit and by putting another one in the process you stopped all juice getting through.

The LR4's will work fine on a Jeep or any other 12 volt vehicle. I have a few customers that use them on their Jeeps and trucks.

I have one set of 35 watt (7 5 watt Cree chips) lights in the same format as our LR5 light, that would work great on the Jeep. Full switched wire harness included. $150 - send me a message if interested. Will put out a bit more light than the LR4 with the larger format.
