All hail the new king!
Very happy for Sykes and the Kawasaki Team, totally deserve this!
Laverty showed the Aprilia guys that replacing him with Melandri could not be the best choice ever made...

BTW Have you guys seen Giugliano wrestling the bike for the whole 2nd round? Disappointing for the result, but AWESOME for the show!

Seeing as the BBC have lost the contract to show next seasons MotoGP I hope they fill the void & show the WSB series, maybe the Yorkshire grinner being world champ will give them the incentive.

A likeable guy and a deserved championship based on this year's performance and last year's close one!

Bollocks to that, The Eurosport coverage is top notch, I don't have HD but the commentators are class, Neil Hodgson and Steve Day are a great combo and Jamie Whitham likewise. You can keep the other twat Burnicle though.
Who would BBC stick in there that can give the kind of insightful commentary that Whitham,Hodgson,Haydon can give?
Oh, almost forgot, Great win for Sykes and Kawasaki. Fully deserved.
Eugene Laverty against Melandri on the last corner deserves some credit too, what a move around the outside!

Congrats to Tom and team green on a well deserved championship.

Oh, and a big raspberry to BMW for pouring untold $ into their five year effort to win a championship only to see it end in tears.

Great racing. I have enjoyed watching WSBK more these days than MotoGP. Seems to me, it is more competitive racing and less behind the scene BS and politics.

Good for Tom..him and the engineers have worked the bike for the last couple years to get it in a position to give him the title. Bike has been fast for years, but was a tire eater last year.

Hated watching him do the work last year, and then always move backwards, mid race on, due to losing grip on spent tires.

I watch the Eurosport feed on the 'net from here in the states. Yesterday I switched over to the BeIn feed because I wanted to watch SS live (Eurosport was showing WSBK AND BSB ALL Freaking Day!!! albeit the WSS broadcast was delayed).

While the BeIn feed was of much higher visual quality, the commentary was nowhere near the excellence of the usual Eurosport commentary.

Those guys rule, Burnicle included.
